Arcpay – Microfinance Bank

Arcpay is a mobile banking application for a Microfinance Bank (MFB), offering users access to essential financial services such as funds transfer, bill payments, airtime purchase, and loan applications.

The Brief

The client’s existing application was functional but plagued with performance issues and missing key features that competitors offered. They needed us to resolve the stability problems and implement new, high-demand features to improve customer satisfaction and retention.

Our Approach

We executed a dual-phase project focused on debugging and feature updates:

  • Debugging Phase: We profiled the application to identify memory leaks, slow database queries, and UI lag. We systematically resolved these issues, significantly improving the app’s performance and stability.

  • Feature Update Phase: We designed and integrated new features, including a biometric login system, a streamlined loan application wizard, and personalized savings goals with automated deductions.

The Results

The enhanced Arcpay app became a more competitive and reliable financial tool. User complaints regarding app crashes and slowness dropped dramatically. The new features led to a 40% increase in loan applications through the app and higher user engagement with the savings feature.
